During the Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship, you will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.

You would be gaining experience in the workplace with one of our host employers. Duties may include but not limited to:

• Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper
• Working out materials by taking measurements
• Erecting scaffold, cradles and ladders
• Placing drop sheets to protect areas from paint
• Removing old paint or paper by sanding and scraping
• Brushing, rolling or spray painting
• Staining and varnishing
• Any other tasks requested by the host employer

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

• Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship
• Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
• Be motivated with a positive attitude
• Drivers licence and own transport
