As an Individual Support Trainee, you will be placed with one of our Host Employers and play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, learning essential skills and gaining practical experience in providing person-centered care to a diverse range of clients.  Duties may include but not limited to: Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Foster a positive and empowering atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity. Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients. Help individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support. Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to client care.
