During the Traineeship, you will begin working full-time 38 hours per week, while studying a Certificate III in Individual Support. Traineeship duration: 12 months As an Individual Support Trainee, you will be placed with one of our Host Employers and play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, learning essential skills and gaining practical experience in providing person-centered care to a diverse range of clients.   Duties may include but not limited to: Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Foster a positive and empowering atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity. Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients. Help individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support. Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to client care. As an Refrig &Air Con Apprentice with ECA: You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, including residential installations, renovations, and commercial ventures, providing exposure to a diverse range of experiences in the field.
