Are you interested in working with metal and ready to kick start your career in an exciting industry? We are on the hunt for motivated and reliable candidates with a keen interest in Engineering to join our team as a Boilermaking Apprentice! Work alongside highly skilled boilermakers and complete your Cert III in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking) in a modern well equipped workshop with a positive team culture. Duties may include but not limited to: Examining detailed drawings to calculate material and equipment requirements Fixing and assembling metal fixtures Cutting, rolling, shaping and bending materials Heating and treating metal materials Using MIG, submerged arc, oxy and other welding equipment, Using oxy/gas cutting equipment (straight line, profile, multihead), Using friction saws, grinders (hand and pedestal), air arc gouges and a range of portable hand tools. Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria: Be able to demonstrate strong mathematical ability Have a strong attention to detail Highly motivated with effective learning and communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions Have a basic understanding of hand power tool operations Have fault finding and problem solving abilities Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual Cert II in Engineering Pathways an advantage Reliable transport to work, car and licence preferred Benefits: Award wages (paid fortnightly) + Super + Holiday Leave Loading + Allowances. As an Apprentice Fitter and Turner, you will be at the heart of Superior Pak's manufacturing operations. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, learn the ins and outs of Fitting and Turning, and develop your skills in a supportive, creative, and dynamic environment. We offer a structured and comprehensive apprenticeship program that combines hands-on experience with formal training. In this role, you'll start your journey by mastering basic fitting skills and gradually progress to learning the ins and outs of manual lathes and milling machines. We're seeking individuals with a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and a burning passion for hands on work.
